Honestly getting a basic toolkit changed everything for me. Started with just fixing a loose headphone jack, then it became a whole thing. The key was not making it a big deal, just a quick fix while we hung out. Keeping a few spare parts around helps too, like replacement joysticks or buttons. Turns out most fixes are pretty simple once you look inside. Makes you feel useful and the free snacks don't hurt either.
