Went to a friend's new house in Denver and the panel labeling was just a bunch of question marks in sharpie.

He said the previous owner 'knew what he was doing' but now I'm tracing circuits for three hours just to find the one for the bathroom fan.

Honestly, the "how bad can it be" line hits hard. Tbh people act like a couple question marks are a crime, but it's just typing. Ngl it feels like getting yelled at for using the wrong tone when you're just trying to talk. Makes you overthink every single message you send. I just want to type without stressing about invisible rules.
