TIL my old boss was right about using a torque wrench on breakers

We had a 400 amp panel fail after 18 months because the lugs were just hand-tight. The new shop policy is a click-type wrench set to the spec on the side of every breaker. How many of you actually torque everything to spec?

Tired breaker lugs are a fire risk, just like @the_ben said about wrench calibration.

Check the torque on your torque wrench too.

My old Craftsman wrench was off by 15 foot-pounds.
