Had a 20 amp breaker trip on a brand new LED light install last Thursday

It was in a small office in Tacoma where we just put in a whole grid of those flat panel LEDs. The breaker kept popping after about ten minutes, even though the load was well under the limit. Turns out one of the drivers had a short that only showed up once it got warm. Anyone run into a bad batch of drivers lately?

Ever check if the new panel's low voltage side could be arcing to the grounded grid frame? I've seen that heat up and cause a trip just like a shorted driver. It's a sneaky one to find.

Yeah @diana55, found one arcing behind the main bus last month.

Sneaky one to find" is right, I spent an hour last week looking for a short before I realized my own meter leads were crossed. Good call @diana55.
