Rant: Figured out a better way to handle ceiling seams after a messy job.

Was tired of dust falling in my eyes. Started using a damp sponge to control it, and now the cleanup is way easier.

Have you noticed the sponge leaving any residue? It can smear the dust instead of cleaning it up.

Saw a tip online that a wet sponge can leave a film behind.

Sponges are just fancy dirt spreaders now?

Switched to microfiber cloths for dusting instead. They seem to grab the dust instead of just pushing it around. Made a big difference on my shelves.
