Hit 500 downloads on a wallpaper I threw together in 20 minutes

I threw some geometric shapes on a canvas while waiting for coffee to brew and it's somehow my most popular upload on Dribbble. Has anyone else had a quick one-off randomly outperform stuff you actually spent time on?

Do you think it's because the simple stuff feels more natural and less overworked, or is it just luck with the algorithm catching it?

Yeah exactly both. Simple stuff works and the algorithm just pushes it more.
