PSA: I just read that the average architectural drafter spends over 60% of their time on revisions.
Found that stat in an industry report from the ADDA. It really makes you think about where all the project hours actually go. How do you guys manage revision requests to keep things efficient?

That stat is painfully real and honestly a bit depressing. Clear communication from the start is the only thing that ever helped us cut down on that cycle. It's a constant battle though, for sure.

Clear communication is a good start but it's not the whole fix. The real issue is often not saying things but how people hear them. You have to check they actually got the message you meant to send.

Haha yeah true, I personally probably mess it up by talking TOO much and burying the actual point in rambling. Half the time I walk away from a conversation thinking I made total sense and the other person is just politely nodding along while wondering what I'm on about.
