Pro tip: double check your layer states before sending a file
I was in the middle of a big site plan for a project in Tampa and sent the PDF to the engineer. He called back immediately because all the utility lines were on the wrong layer and didn't print. I had to re-export everything and rush it over, which cost me an hour. Anyone else have a go-to method for a final layer check before hitting send?

Honestly, my final check is just a quick zoom out to see the whole drawing on screen. If something major is missing, it's usually obvious at a glance. That saved me more times than checking every single layer.

That's a solid method. I do something similar with my route sheets before I head out. Glance at the whole thing spread on the table instead of reading each address line by line. A missing street just pops out. Saves me from having to double back later.

Nah, I actually think relying on a quick glance can backfire hard. Zooming out is how you miss a buried conduit that landed on the wrong layer because it's tiny and blends in. The only way to be sure is to turn off every layer one by one and verify nothing important disappears.
