Just finished a set of drawings with over 200 detail callouts
I was working on a commercial kitchen layout and the count just kept climbing. It mattered because it forced me to rethink my whole layer management system to keep it all clear. How do you guys organize sheets when the detail count gets that high?

Grouping by equipment like @roberts.diana suggests can actually make sheets harder to read when everything is so packed. It's often clearer to just sort all details by sheet location from top left to bottom right.

Man, location based sorting is the WAY to go. I tried grouping by equipment once and it was a total MESS to read on the actual sheets. Top left to bottom right just flows better when you're on site trying to find a callout fast.
