I finally had the perfect drafting day last Thursday and it still feels unreal

Everything just clicked. My CAD file opened clean, no glitches. I laid out a full plumbing rough-in for a 4-story apartment building in about 6 hours flat. Normally I fight with overlapping lines and missing specs for days. But on Thursday, the architect's PDFs aligned perfectly with my base plan, and the city inspector actually signed off on the first review. Has anyone else had a day where the stars just align? Or do you think that's just a myth we tell ourselves?

My buddy Dave over at MEP Design had that exact thing happen last month. He said he got a full commercial HVAC layout approved in one go and it took him like 4 hours instead of the usual 2 day headache. He still jokes about it being his "unicorn day" and how he's been chasing that feeling ever since.

Haha @cole_mitchell57, I know exactly what Dave's talking about. I had one of those rare days last fall where I submitted a ductwork plan and got it stamped without a single redline, still waiting for the sequel.
