Dropped $80 on a digital angle finder and it saved me from re-cutting crown molding for the third time

I kept messing up compound miters by a degree or two, so I grabbed the digital one from Home Depot and it instantly paid for itself on the first ceiling job, has anyone else switched from a manual protractor?

Oh man, those things are total game changers.

Well @emma_young is right, they really are game changers. But here's what I'm wondering - did you find the digital one actually holds zero better than the manual ones? I've had three different cheap protractors over the years and they all drifted after a few months of bouncing around in my toolbox. The digital one seems to stay dead on no matter how much I drop it. Also, have you ever tried the Bluetooth ones that let you lock in the angle on your phone before you walk over to the saw? I've been curious if those are worth the extra money or if they're just a gimmick.
