Can we talk about the old shipyard plans I saw at the maritime museum in Norfolk?
They had these massive, hand-drawn blueprints from the 1940s on display, and the detail in the hull sections was incredible. How do you think drafting for something that complex has changed with CAD, or is the core skill the same?

@evand65 Yeah, you ask if I've tried drawing something like that by hand. I have actually, and it's a mess. People act like you need a steady hand and serious dedication, but honestly most of my attempts end up looking like a toddler got into some charcoal. I don't think shading hair that carefully is something normal people can just do without a lot of practice. It's not that deep, it's just patience and maybe a good reference photo.
