That $8 tube of construction adhesive I scoffed at actually saved my sagging fence post
Three days of rain in Seattle and my gate hinge ripped clean out of the rotted wood. Smashed some Liquid Nails in there, clamped it, and it's been holding for six months now. Anyone else have a cheap fix that actually outlasted the proper repair?

Honestly same with @joel280 and their flex seal boat story. Ain't nothing wrong with a $8 fix that holds better than the "right" way.
