My grandma's dresser got a second life as a garden planter

I was cleaning out the attic and found an old dresser that was really beat up. I decided to sand it down and turn it into a stand for my herb pots instead of throwing it away. Have you guys tried similar upcycling tricks to cut down on waste?

My backyard garden took over 40 hours just to set up the first year, troy_martinez. It absolutely becomes a second job with watering, weeding, and pest control. You basically trade one type of free time for another.
