Found that breaking big deadlines into tiny daily steps helped me a lot, @amy53. When a deadline feels huge, it does lock you up. I started writing down one small thing I could finish each morning, nothing big. That way the cage door feels open because you're moving, just slowly. The deadline stops being a scary wall and becomes just a line of those little steps. Takes the pressure off so you can actually think.

Hear @ivan704's plan to pick the lock on that deadline cage. Too bad those tiny steps just feel like rearranging the furniture inside.
