Warning: My $80 screen protector for my drawing tablet was a total waste

I got a Paperlike screen protector for my iPad Pro, thinking it would make drawing feel more like real paper. It did add some texture, but after about two months of daily use, the tip on my Apple Pencil wore down so fast I had to replace it, which cost another $30. Has anyone found a good texture film that doesn't eat your nibs?

Seriously? That's just the trade-off for that paper-like feel (which honestly isn't that close to real paper anyway). The texture has to come from somewhere, and it's usually a rough surface that grinds the nib down. Maybe just get used to the glass screen, it's way cheaper in the long run.

My Remarkable 2 ate a nib every three weeks like clockwork. The gritty feel is just abrasive material wearing the tip down. I gave up and went back to a regular tablet.
