That time my Wacom tablet driver crashed mid-commission

I was working on a 30 inch wide piece at 3 AM in my Brooklyn apartment when my Cintiq Pro 27 just went black for no reason. The driver somehow corrupted itself mid-brushstroke, and I lost 2 hours of unsaved work because I was in the zone. I spent the next 45 minutes reinstalling the driver from scratch, frantically checking if my autosave backup file actually existed. Has anyone else dealt with Wacom drivers randomly nuking your workflow during a deadline?
