Spent $60 on a drawing tablet that barely works for digital painting
Picked up a cheap no-name drawing tablet online to try digital art. It felt okay at first but the pen pressure stopped working after two days. Now I'm stuck using a mouse for sketches and it's totally killing my flow. Anyone got recommendations for a budget tablet that actually holds up for painting?

Oh man, reminds me of when I bought a cheap gaming mouse for fifteen bucks and the left button started double clicking after a week. Like yeah you get what you pay for but still feels bad.

Honestly, I paid $60 for a first-gen iPad stylus from a dollar store once and got exactly what I deserved. That tablet probably cost like twelve cents to make in a factory somewhere in Shenzhen. You really think a no-name brand is gonna have drivers that last longer than a couple days? Ngl, it sounds like you expected too much from something that didn't even have a proper website or customer support. The pen pressure issue is annoying sure, but you can still sketch with a mouse, it's just slower. People act like their whole art career is ruined cause a cheap tool breaks, but you just need to save up for something with a real warranty like a Huion or an XP-Pen.
