Shoutout to the stat that shocked me live on stream last night
I was showing off my latest digital painting setup in a small Discord call with some artists I met online... and I mentioned I usually work at 300 DPI for print. One guy asked if I knew how many layers my file actually had. I checked Procreate and it said 87 layers just for this one landscape piece. I laughed because I never even counted them before. Then another friend said her biggest file hit 200 layers for a cityscape she did for a contest last month in Chicago. I couldn't believe it... I always thought my stuff was overkill but turns out people go way bigger. Anyone else ever peek at their layer count and get surprised? What's the highest you've hit?

Peeked at my layers once and saw I had 23 layers of just clouds I kept tweaking. Turns out I'm not an artist, I'm just a guy who can't commit to a single fluffy cloud shape. What's your highest layer count that made you question your life choices?

Does @adamcoleman know that those 23 cloud layers individually each had like 3 or 4 more sub-layers hiding in them? My highest was 47 layers of just grass variations and I still couldn't pick a blade shape I liked.
