My tablet pen literally exploded during a piece for a gallery submission last night
I was about 3 hours into this digital painting for a local gallery show in Portland, really getting into the zone, and then I hear this little pop. My stylus just cracked right in my hand, battery started swelling and everything. I had to yank the battery out with tweezers because it was smoking a tiny bit. Completely ruined the flow, plus the nib broke off inside the pen slot. Now I gotta wait for a replacement to ship and the deadline is in 5 days. Has anyone else had a pen just fall apart on them like this? I'm debating if I should just switch brands or if this was a one-off defect.

Yeah @noahw53 has a point, I used to think charger warnings were overblown but after seeing a couple posts like this I'm totally on board now. That battery swelling is no joke.
