My first digital art showcase got ruined by a cat walking on my keyboard
Last month I finally saved up enough pieces for my first online showcase. I had everything arranged in a perfect gallery layout on my site. Right as I was about to hit publish, my cat jumped on my laptop and somehow selected a "melt" filter on half my paintings. I didn't notice until 3 hours later when a friend asked why my dragon looked like a melting candle. Worst part is I couldn't even get mad because the cat version got more likes than my originals. Has anyone else had a pet mess up their portfolio display?

The universe has a weird sense of humor (and maybe cats are in on it). It's like when you spend hours perfectly framing a photo on your phone, only to realize later your thumb was in the corner the whole time. People connect more with the mistakes because they feel more real. Your "ruined" dragon probably looked like a happy accident, something spontaneous instead of polished. I've noticed that in life too - the perfectly planned stuff never connects as deeply as the messy, accidental version. That's just how social media works now, I guess.

Just read this thing the other day about how our brains are wired to notice imperfections more than perfect stuff. Something about survival instincts back when we had to spot a tiger hiding in the bushes or whatever. Makes sense with the dragon photo though, the wonky one probably feels more alive like there's a real story behind it.
