My buddy in Phoenix said to always work at 300 DPI for prints, even on big pieces.

I ignored him for a year, thinking 150 DPI was fine to save file size, and my last gallery print came out looking fuzzy up close. Now I'm redoing a whole series. What's the smallest DPI you've gotten away with for a large format print?

Man, that's rough. I feel for you and @thomas_campbell. Honestly, I wouldn't go below 200 for anything bigger than a poster.
