Did it clear your head or just make you feel weird coming back? For me, those gaps let me focus on stuff I actually cared about without the pressure to post about it. Ended up feeling more grounded and less anxious about keeping up with everyone else.

Man, a 3 year gap is barely a thing anymore. People take breaks all the time for real stuff. @nora735 nailed it - maybe they were just living life. I know someone who stepped away for a year to help a sick parent and their portfolio was just fine when they came back. Not every pause needs a deep explanation.
