Just found out my 'digital painting' was saving at 72 DPI this whole time
I was messing with export settings in Procreate last night, getting ready for a print order. I clicked into the canvas info tab and saw it was set to 72 DPI by default. Turns out I've been sending low-res files to clients for like 6 months. Nobody said anything either, so either they aren't printing them or my art is just that forgiving. Has anyone else discovered a hidden setting that wrecked their workflow?

Wait, 72 DPI isn't really a "low res" setting for digital work unless you're printing.

My buddy @king.dakota is out here acting like 300 DPI is some kind of ancient artifact or something. I mean sure, nobody's printing out forum posts to hang on their fridge, but if you're sending a logo to a client for a banner, 72 DPI is going to look like a pixelated mess. I've literally had to explain to people why their "high quality" social media image printed out looking like a blurry potato. It's not rocket science, Dakota, it's just basic math with pixels and paper.
