Just crossed 1000 hours in Krita and finally get why people rave about the brush stabilizer

Hit 1000 hours on my Krita timer this morning, and it took me until about hour 600 to really dial in the brush smoothing settings for line art. Anyone else find that the default stabilizer settings make your strokes feel sluggish instead of smooth?

Oh yeah, turn that stabilizer way down or it feels like drawing through molasses.

Man idk, thats a bit dramatic dont you think? I use stabilizers all the time and yeah they add a bit of resistance but its not like pushing through a milkshake. Maybe youre using the wrong kind or your settings are way off. Ive messed with mine a bunch and found a middle ground that feels fine. Feels like people make a bigger deal out of this than it really is half the time.
