Don't waste $300 on that "pro" brush pack for Procreate

Bought this huge brush bundle from some famous digital artist last month. 300 bucks for like 200 brushes. Sounded like a steal at first. Turns out 180 of them are basically the same dry ink brush with slightly different angles. I use maybe 3 of them regularly. The rest just sit there cluttering up my brush library. I spent more time scrolling through brushes than actually painting. Felt like such a fool after realizing I could've made my own custom brushes for free in 20 minutes. Has anyone else got burned by those overhyped brush packs?

Honestly I think that's on you for not doing better research first. I picked up that same pack and those dry ink brushes have been great for crosshatching and sketching, plus the texture brushes saved me hours trying to recreate that look myself. Yeah there's some overlap but for the price per brush it still works out cheaper than buying individual ones on Gumroad.

The dry ink brushes are actually what sold me on that pack too after I saw some crosshatching examples. I totally wrote them off as gimmicky at first but now they're my go-to for sketching.
