Decided between Procreate and Clip Studio Paint for my comic pages
I went with Procreate because it was cheaper upfront (like $13 one-time fee) and everyone says it's good for drawing. But now I'm stuck trying to do panel layouts and it's a pain without proper page tools. Has anyone else regretted going with the cheaper option for comic art?

Why would you need page tools when you can just draw each panel on a separate layer?

Oh man, separate layers for each panel works okay for simple stuff but it gets messy fast when you're trying to line up borders and gutters across multiple pages (trust me, I learned this the hard way). Procreate is great for sketching though, just not built for the kind of workflow CSP handles out of the box.
