Can we talk about how everyone forgets to match color profiles between programs?

I spent 3 days wondering why my gradient looked dull in the portfolio viewer until I realized Photoshop and Illustrator were using different RGB settings by default.

Gotta disagree a bit here - most modern programs handle color spaces automatically these days (especially if you're using Adobe's Creative Cloud). The real issue is usually people mixing up CMYK for print versus RGB for screens, which is a different problem entirely. Once you standardize on sRGB for web work, those dull gradients usually disappear on their own.
