Unpopular opinion: Aftermarket injectors are a waste of money 9 times out of 10

I used to think saving $200 on a set of cheap reman injectors from some online seller was a smart move. Then I had to pull the same set out of a 6.0 Powerstroke three separate times over 8 months because they kept sticking or leaking. Each time it cost the shop 4 hours of labor and the customer was losing his mind. I finally broke down and ordered OEM Bosch from a dealer in Phoenix and that truck has run clean for 2 years now. Has anyone else burned hours chasing bad aftermarket parts like this?

That 6.0 Powerstroke story is rough, I feel for you on the labor side. But honestly, I gotta take the other side of this a little. I've put cheap reman injectors in a hundred different trucks over the years, Ford and Chevy both, and most of them are still running fine down the road. Your one bad experience doesn't mean all aftermarket parts are junk across the board. I think a lot of the time the problem isn't the injector itself, it's the fuel system leading up to it. Dirty fuel, a weak pump, or a crusty fuel filter housing. I know a guy who rebuilt his whole top end three times before he found a cracked pickup tube in the tank sending air into the rails. That wasn't the injector's fault. So I'm not saying OEM can't be better, but I think you got a little bit of a bad batch, not a rule.

Most of them are still running fine" is wild to hear @evan51, I've seen too many fail to trust that.
