Took me 7 years to finally buy a quality torque wrench for diesel injector work

I used to just guess on the torque specs with a cheap clicker that was probably 50 lb-ft off, but after snapping a bolt on a Cummins ISX head last spring I grabbed a Snap-on digital one and haven't had a single issue since, anyone else wish they'd just paid up earlier?

Did you ever trust that cheap clicker after you snapped the bolt, or did it just sit in the drawer collecting dust? I definitely threw mine in the trash the same day I got a real one.

Wait, you actually threw it away the same day? That's kind of extreme but I get it. How much did that stripped bolt end up costing you in the long run though - like did it mess up anything else on the car or just a quick fix? Those cheap clickers always feel fine until you really need them to work, then they just let you down.
