Learned that trick from my dad back when cars still had points and condensers.

Remember having to gap points with a feeler gauge by the side of the road in the rain? @barbara429 that's a solid trick your dad passed down. I always carry a spare condenser in my glovebox, nobody thinks about those failing on a long trip. The old cars taught you to be ready for anything.
