Just got a 6.0 Powerstroke that was running on 5 cylinders back to a full roar in my driveway this afternoon.

After tracing a dead injector to a bad connection at the FICM harness, I cleaned the pins with some electrical cleaner and a toothbrush, and now it idles smooth as glass, so what's your go-to fix for those finicky FICM plugs?

Dielectric grease, like kellyj23 said, reminds me of my old Civic's distributor cap.

Oh come on, I gotta push back a little here. I've seen too many people use dielectric grease wrong and end up with more problems than they started with. Don't get me wrong, @kellyj23, it does help with corrosion but only if you put it on the rubber boot and not the actual metal contacts. I've pulled apart distributor caps where someone slathered it all over the terminals and the car ran worse because the grease is an insulator by nature. It keeps moisture out of the connector, but it also keeps electricity from flowing if you're not careful with where you put it. Just something to watch for if you're doing this yourself.

Dielectric grease is the real hero there, keeps the corrosion from coming back.
