Spent $200 on a fancy screen reader. My cat did a better job.
I bought this premium screen reader software last month. Thought it would make my designs bulletproof for visually impaired users. Cost me $200 bucks upfront. First test run? My cat walked across the keyboard and closed the tab. The reader just said "tab closed" and went silent. No backup. No undo. I lost the whole session. Meanwhile my cat just looked at me like I was the idiot. Has anyone else had a tool fail in a stupid obvious way like that?

Tab closed" and then silence for $200? That's honestly brutal. I can't believe there wasn't at least a confirmation prompt or an undo button in the software. Ngl, your cat probably did a better job because at least it kept things interesting. I would've been so mad I'd be calling my credit card company to dispute the charge.

Tab closed and then silence" - that was exactly it @kai779. I stared at the blank screen for a good 10 seconds hoping something would pop up. Nope. Just my cat licking his paw like he owned the place. He's a better design critic too. He knocked my mouse off the desk once and I landed on a layout that actually looked decent. So maybe I should just hire him instead of buying tech. At least he works for treats.
