My blind cousin called my app design useless and I didn't know what to say back
She told me I made the buttons too small and the contrast on the login screen was basically invisible for her, and that hit different because I spent weeks on that dashboard layout without once asking someone who can't see well to test it.

Honestly, tell your cousin thanks. She did you a massive favor by pointing out the button thing and the contrast issue. Building an app without thinking about accessibility is like designing a car and never asking if the steering wheel works for tall people. Go back and rework the login screen with high contrast colors and make those buttons bigger. She probably saved you a ton of bad reviews from other users who would have just quit the app without saying a word.

Real talk, getting feedback from someone who doesn't understand tech is usually the most honest feedback you'll get. Had a buddy do the same thing with a website I built, and fixing those basic problems made everything way smoother.
