Heard a client say 'I just zoom in' about our tiny form labels
They have low vision and were on a support call describing their workaround. It made me check our entire form system, and sure enough, our label font size was 12px. Has anyone else had a specific moment like that shift their focus to a detail they'd overlooked?

Actually, a lot of screen readers can't handle zoomed pages.

Happens all the time with physical stuff too. I see people struggling with tiny print on medicine bottles or instructions and just holding them two inches from their face. It's a quiet workaround that most designers never see. We build things for our own eyesight and our own comfort. That moment when you actually hear the workaround described out loud, it cuts right through all the abstract talk about accessibility. It stops being a checklist item and becomes a real person telling you how they have to fight your design just to use it.
