My grandma used to call me every time her digital clock blinked after a power outage. She thought the colon was a pair of eyes judging her. I had to drive over to press the reset button for three years straight. Technology from this century just broke her brain. She finally went back to a wind-up alarm clock from a yard sale. Problem solved.
