Tried components vs. symbols for button states and it was night and day

I spent like 3 hours last week building out hover and active button states using separate frames and linking them manually. It was a mess every time I needed to change a color or padding. Then I watched a tutorial that showed setting up component variants with the state as a property. Now I can swap between default, hover, and pressed from the properties panel in one click. Has anyone else found a plugin that helps batch convert old frames into variants? I've got like 50 buttons to clean up.

Did you try the "States" plugin? That thing saved me when I had to clean up a whole mess of buttons from an old project. I was in the same boat, manually linking frames and it took forever. Now I just batch select the frames and it converts them into variants with the state property. It's not perfect, you might have to tweak a few things after, but it cut my time down by like 80 percent.

1200 frames in a single file? You have more patience than me, I would have given up after the first hundred.
