The library naming convention at my old workplace broke me

Spent 3 hours last week untangling a Figma file where someone named every component 'Button v2' or 'Card final final'. Has anyone else dealt with a file so messy you had to rebuild it from scratch?

@paigewood You just gave me flashbacks to that "shape" folder. My personal favorite was finding a file where someone named a button "please work v6". Yeah, that's when you know things have gone off the rails. I honestly think half the people using Figma just click "duplicate" and never think about what they're doing. Like, is "Button v2" really that much harder to type than "Button"? I've rebuilt whole files before, and every time I swear I'll never let it happen again. Then Monday rolls around and someone sends me a link to a file that looks like a toddler designed it.

Used to think people complaining about file structure were just being dramatic. Then I opened a project where someone had 47 layers named "shape" and none of them were grouped.
