Shoutout to the Figma stats page I never knew existed

Was poking around in the team settings last night and found the file analytics section. Turns out one of my component libraries has 47 instances floating around from 3 projects ago. No idea why nobody told me about that tab sooner. Has anyone else found a hidden feature like this just by clicking around?

47 instances is wild, I've found stuff like that with old recipes saved in three different folders on my phone. It's funny how we create our own hidden features by just not cleaning up after ourselves.

Huh, I actually think that "never knowing" thing is kind of a feature, not a bug (call me crazy). If you're deep enough into a project to care about stats like component libraries and instances, you've probably already got a workflow that works for you. Finding 47 stray instances sounds like a problem, sure, but maybe the real issue is that you're over-analyzing something that was fine before you knew about it. Same thing with old recipes in folders - if you never found them, nobody was complaining about missing files or broken designs. I'd argue that tool features you stumble onto by accident are often just noise that distracts you from actually making stuff.
