Last Wednesday my Figma file corrupted 3 hours before client presentation

I had 47 frames laid out perfectly for a retail app redesign and then Figma just froze and gave me the spinning wheel of death for 20 minutes straight. When it came back, half my components were broken and three pages of mockups were just blank. Has anyone found a way to auto-backup their local copy so this doesn't screw you over again?

Maybe don't rely on auto-save and just hit ctrl+s every minute.

My friend Gary lost 3 hours of work last week doing exactly that and almost threw his laptop out the window.

Wait, did you try sacrificing a flash drive to the Figma gods too? I swear my laptop knows when I'm about 3 hours deep into a project and decides to pick that exact moment to throw a tantrum. I lost 8 product detail page mockups once, spent the next hour crying into a cold coffee while rebuilding them from memory. Now I manually export a backup file every 30 minutes like a paranoid robot.
