Hit 500 components and my laptop almost caught fire

I was just cleaning up my file and saw I hit 500 components in a single design system library. Opened the file and my 2021 MacBook started sounding like a jet engine for a solid 2 minutes. Anyone else's computer freak out when you cross a certain number?

A buddy of mine was working on a design library for a car company and hit around 400 components. His old Dell laptop just straight up froze for like 30 seconds every time he opened the file. He had to start closing every other app just to get it to load. Eventually he just rebuilt the whole thing with fewer nested layers and it helped a bit. That 500 mark seems to be the breaking point for most machines though.
