TIL my monitor arm was hiding a huge cable rat's nest behind my desk in Denver
I was swapping out a busted LED strip and found three tangled power bricks, two old USB hubs, and a forgotten ethernet cable I'd been blaming on my ISP for months has anyone else discovered a mess like that just from moving one thing?

Honestly I found a whole-ass bag of old cell phone chargers behind my desk once, some of them still had the tags on from like 2014. Ngl I think half of us just avoid looking behind our setups because we know it's chaos back there. Tbh that missing ethernet cable thing hits hard though I blamed my router for a solid year before finding the actual loose connection.

Ugh yeah I was one of those people who was like "out of sight out of mind" until I moved my tower and found a literal dust bunny ecosystem back there. Now I'm a full convert to cable management because seeing that disaster changed my whole perspective. It's wild how one little move can reveal months of denial about your setup's actual state.
