Swapped my desk lamp for a photography light and it's a game changer

I was sick of constantly adjusting my lamp to avoid glare on my monitor. After three weeks of squinting, I grabbed a $35 softbox light from a photography store. It diffuses the light so evenly that shadows on my desk basically vanished. Anyone else tried using non standard lights for their workspace?

Right? I grabbed one from Amazon for $28 and it works perfect for my streaming setup.
