Shoutout to the cheap monitor arm that fixed my neck pain
I spent 2 months hunched over my laptop at my kitchen table and my neck was killing me. Finally picked up a $40 gas spring monitor arm off Amazon and stuck a spare 24 inch screen on it. Raising it up so the top of the screen is at eye level made a huge difference in just a week. Has anyone else noticed how much a simple height adjustment changes your posture?

Did you notice your shoulders relaxing once you got the screen at the right height?

@josephb35 it was like my shoulders finally realized they could stop living up by my ears! I had no idea I was basically doing a permanent shrug until I fixed the height. My neck still cracks like a glow stick when I turn my head but at least the pain is gone.
