Hit 5000 steps at my standing desk last month and it changed everything

I've always been a sit-down worker, but three weeks ago I got a cheap converter on Craigslist and decided to give standing a real try. After hitting 5000 steps just from pacing while I sorted through client invoices, I realized my back wasn't killing me by lunchtime for the first time in years. Has anyone else noticed a specific number or milestone that made you rethink your whole desk setup?

Oh totally, the back pain thing is wild right? I hit 3000 steps on a slow Tuesday last month and suddenly realized I wasn't doing that midday slump stretch anymore.

Yeah the back pain thing is no joke, that's awesome you noticed such a big shift. For me it was the 4000 step mark where I stopped feeling like a pretzel by lunch. I swear it's those small wins that make you realize how broken your old setup really was.
