That's a solid goal but the grind is real. Seen too many comics burn out before they even get a decent half-hour. Gotta hit open mics for years and write new material daily. You putting in stage time already?

How many open mics a week do you think is the bare minimum to even start getting good? Andrew is totally right about the daily writing, that part is non-negotiable. I've got a friend who did the grind for five years and just quit because he never built the habit. It's a marathon for sure.
