Told me to stop using my daily planner and switch to a weekly spread...
My friend Sarah from my old job kept insisting I was overcomplicating things with my daily planner pages. She said I should try a weekly spread for 2 weeks back in March. I resisted because I liked the space of daily pages. But after I gave it a shot, I actually got more done because I could see the whole week at once instead of flipping pages. Has anyone else had a similar experience switching layouts?

Wait, are you sure it was back in March? I remember that was right when my company switched to a new project management system and I was drowning in meetings, so my planner habits went completely out the window for a few months. But yeah, I had the same experience. I switched from a daily to a weekly layout last year and it totally changed how I saw my time. The daily pages made me feel like I had to fill every single hour, but the weekly spread lets me see the big picture and actually leave space for things like laundry or just relaxing.

@schmidt.blake nailed it with "filling every single hour" - that draining feeling is so real. Weekly spreads just let you breathe way more.
