Shoutout to the landscaper who told me my garden layout was 'too logical'

He said I was designing like a spreadsheet, not a place people want to hang out. So I tore up my grid and planted everything in weird clusters. Now my neighbor brings her chair over to read there, did anyone else get called out for being too rigid with their home setup?

Your neighbor bringing her chair over is proof you did it right. But you didn't "tear up" your grid, you just rearranged things. Plants still got planted in the same spots, just in weird groups now.
