I was wrong about morning routines for like 10 years

Thought waking up at 5am was dumb guru talk. Then I tried it for 21 days straight and my afternoon slump vanished. Anyone else have a habit you swore you'd never do that actually worked?

Did you try waking up at the same time every day, or just 5am?

Same time every day, that's the key right there. I tried just jumping into 5am cold and it was awful for like two weeks until my body finally gave in. Waking up at 6:30 on weekends totally derailed me, I'd be dragging on Monday morning every single time. Now I do 6am no matter what, even if I went to bed late or had a rough night. My alarm goes off, I'm up within five minutes, no snoozing no exceptions. It's boring but it actually works way better than chasing some perfect early hour.
