I finally compared paper planning to digital for my weekly schedule
I have been using a Google Calendar for like 3 years straight. Felt organized enough until I started missing little things like my kid's dentist appointment and a library book return. Last month I grabbed a cheap $6 weekly planner from Target on a whim. The difference blew my mind. Writing stuff down by hand made me actually remember things instead of just relying on notifications. I felt more in control too, like I was choosing my time instead of reacting to alerts. Has anyone else felt this way switching methods?

People really act like picking a planner is some life changing event. It's a notebook and a pen.

picking a planner is some life changing event" - nah, you're not wrong that it's just paper and ink. But for some people it's more about finding the right system to actually keep track of everything, not the planner itself. A spiral notebook works fine for a lot of folks, but a structured layout can make a real difference for someone who's scatterbrained.
